Mary Maloney, once a man's dreamed up house wife is now a cold blooded killer. I took Patrick Maloney's news as he was divorcing her, the story never truly told what his news was. It obviously wasn't good news because Mary was sick to her stomach and was on cloud nine while trying to make him supper. The first suspect in any murder case is always the person's significant other, just because they knew this man and his wife they dismissed Mary. They were played for fools and ate the thing that killed their fellow coworker while Mary giggled in the other room. I would assume with the murder weapon out of the equation Mary would walk away from this as a free women, assumed to be a mourning widow. Why was Patrick trying to divorce Mary? It seemed like she lived just to please him. Constantly asking to grab something for him, or trying to make him something, he wasn't asking for any of this. He didn't ask for the whisky, as soon as he walked in the door no words were said she just knew he always wanted one after work.
